Best SUP Boards
From the outside, it’s difficult to tell the difference between one stand
up paddle board and the next. Of course, the differences are there and they
can be quite dramatic from one manufacturing technique to the next. There are
a lot of short cuts that a company can take to drive costs out of production,
but often times those short cuts follow short term thinking and come with what
most rationale people would consider unacceptable quality tradeoffs. Sometimes
production cost trade-offs are rationale – not everyone wants to spend
$1500 on a board. In another section, we feature the best
paddle board deals in terms of value and the lowest prices. In this section,
we only feature what we consider the very best SUP boards in terms of quality
construction, durability, design, and performance characteristics. Understand
that in the burgeoning SUP market, price isn’t always exactly correlated
with quality. There are good deals in the high-end, high-quality SUP boards
as well.
