Description Technical Specs

The Tower Weekender 12'6" - a speedy touring and recreational racing SUP that will have the whole family spending more time on the water.

While this was designed with a recreational rider in mind, its shape embodies many of the latest features in elite racing boards such as the displacement nose and a water-shedding front deck design. The combination of a flat bottom and the displacement nose makes this board surge horizontally forward and back, instead of inefficiently up and down as you paddle. Works great for tandem riding and at the standard 12'6" racing length, you can enter this board in pretty much any SUP racing event on the planet.

The Weekender is a beautiful blend of technology and aesthetic design. This stylishly futuristic board features an an outer layer of 6 oz fiberglass and an inner layer of 10 oz high-tech carbon cross link material (it's kevlar, actually like in bulletproof vests), which adds shear strength and breathtaking design. These boards were designed in California in Tower's San Diego SUP factory, yet due to our manufacturer direct distribution model they are $1000 less expensive than comparable quality boards sold thru retail by other brands.

Benefits of Carbon Cross Link

More rigid - Compared to traditional epoxy and fiberglass construction, carbon cross link boards are quite a bit more rigid.

Stylish design - The look of these boards really blows people away. The carbon cross link mesh looks like nothing else on the market and gives the board a clean, stylish, and futuristic design.

So Nice! October 13, 2016
Review by: Bernard from San Diego
I have owned this board for about a year.  I love it.  It is large enough to support 240lbs and I can breeze through the water when I paddle in the bay.  Its is easy to carry, as it is not that heavy given the length and its just a solid all around board that works great for my needs.

This board rocks!!!! December 10, 2015
Review by: Jason Simmons from Sevierville, TN
I have a 9'10 iSUP which is the first paddle board I board.  Liked it for trips.  Takes up no space.  But I also wanted a hard board so I bought this one (not the carbon one) and man, do I ever love it.  I have other friends that spent twice as much on their board and love mine more.  I am a Tower believer and will always buy from them, no question.

12'6 Weekender April 27, 2015
Review by: Anonymous Person from Pacific Palisades
The Weekender is a excellent choice for flat open water cruising is very stable and fast when you pushed to the limits and in the other hand if you get cough going upwind in a choppy swell it wont let you down providing you can keep her steady as she goes just made Shure to bring some water for the way back....
