Epoxy surfboard repair
Solarez is our #1 recommendation for fixing EPS foam plus epoxy resin stand up paddle boards. It's a clear, high strength, fiber reinforced epoxy resin repair putty mixture. To fix your paddleboard, simply cut away any loose foam and fiberglass and squeeze in the clear gel roughly replacing the void. It's called "Solarez" because it cures (dries and hardens) when sunlight is introduced, so you can basically work on your project in the garage and then walk it outside to cure. The whole process can be done in under 5 minutes. Once it dries, you can sand down the solidified putty to the original shape of your board. The result is a 100% waterproof repair, and you're safe to take your board back in the water.
Paddle board repair
Traditionally, repairing a paddle board is somewhat of a tricky project, with a lot of room for human error to screw up the final result... and your actions are permanent. Conventional repair involves mixing resin with a hardening agent in precise ratios. Once you start the process, the hardening begins and you have x number of minutes to get everything right before it all hardens up. There isn't a lot of room for mistakes. Solarez takes out the human error of mixing resins and hardeners. Just simply apply the goo to your ding, leave your board out in the sun, and let UV rays work its magic.
