Cuban Raves About Tower Paddle Boards
San Diego, CA, February 20, 2013 -
This morning, Mark Cuban appeared as a guest on
the Howard Stern Show where he spoke about Tower
Paddle Boards being one of his best investments
from ABC’s hit TV show Shark Tank.
Cuban discusses CEO Stephan Aarstol
and the growth of his company, “Oh, he’s
killing it… These guys went from doing 18,000
a month… and did 2.1 million this [past] year
and he’ll do 3 million this coming year.”
Placing a spotlight on the Tower inflatable
paddle boards, Cuban describes the benefits of owning
an inflatable and how easy they are to travel with
and transport. When Stern asked him why Tower’s
boards are better than competing paddle board brands,
Cuban replied that they are “less expensive”
and “well done”.
“A lot of people associate a
less expensive product with cheap quality”
explains Aarstol, “Tower defies this social
stigma. As Cuban simply put it to Stern, ours are
less expensive AND well done. We are able to achieve
this because we do not operate on the traditional
distribution channel -we’re direct. We save
on internal costs without sacrificing quality so
that customers save big on SUPs.”
