Paddleboard Bags
Stand up paddleboard bags serve three primary purposes. First they are cushioned
so they can protect your board while it’s being stored. In trying to maneuver
and store a 10’ to 12’ SUP, you’ll quickly realize that most
of the damage happens out of the water. Using a paddleboard bag limits this
out of the water damage, but make sure you never bag up the board while it's
wet or the stand
up paddle board deck pad will start to mold. Secondly, most SUP board bags
have a silver / metallic reflective surface on the outside. As heat can damage
your board while it’s lying in the sun at the beach (excessive heat causes
foam expansion, which can lead to delamination), putting your board inside a
reflective bag protects it from the intense accumulation of heat. Lastly, paddleboard
bags have a shoulder strap so are great for carrying and also for travel.
