Shaper Festival of Surfing Presented by Vans

Shaper Studios is at it again, and now partnering with a giant of the industry, Vans.

The Self Shape Surf Contest, a tradition that has been happening since 2014, is an awesome weekend event that welcomes everyone, and it is happening again this coming weekend in Encinitas, CA.

They’re kicking off this year’s event with a Surfaid fundraiser party on Friday, May 11th. Proceeds will be used to help improve the health, wellbeing and self-reliance of mothers and children living in isolated regions. The Shaper Fest and Surf Contest will happen on Saturday, along with a Movie Premiere presented by Vans at La Paloma Theatre. On May 13th, they’re closing it with a Beach Clean Up at Seaside Beach.

There will be live music and the presence of some amazing surfers like Josh Kerr, Rob Machado and Joel Tudor.
