My pump isn't building pressure in my board - what do I do?
If one of your inflatable stand up paddleboards is not properly inflating the problem may be in the pump. Although this is rare, the manual pump that comes with every inflatable paddle board package can sometimes malfunction. The lack of pressure buildup is caused by a lack of lubricant in the pump or unevenly distributed lubricant. If the pump won't build pressure all you need to do is add some sort of lubricant, like Vaseline. Unscrew the top of the pump and add a glob of lubricant to the cylindrical piece on the inside. Then screw the pump top back on and rotate the handles to get it evenly coated. Your pump should be fully functioning after that!
If you are tired of manually inflating your inflatable SUP board each time you use it, our electric paddle board pump is perfect for you. Our electric iSUP pump takes no effort and is extremely easy to set up. All you have to do is plug in one end to the cigarette lighter or attach the clamps to your car battery and put the nozzle into your inflatable paddle board and press start. The pump will do all the work for you. It will stop on its own when the iSUP is inflated to the optimal psi.
