San Diego, CA March, 2015 – The multinational e-commerce giant Amazon took note of Tower’s success using their platform and asked Tower Paddle Boards to partake their new project, Amazon Exclusive. Amazon Exclusive has sought out some of the top Shark Tank and Kickstarter companies to be part of this program which will assign a specific marketing team to cater and help boost each individual company. In March, Tower Paddle Boards’ CEO, Stephan Aarstol, was flown up to the Amazon headquarters in Seattle, WA for an Amazon Exclusive signing.
"Historically, massive, household brands that do in excess of $50 million in sales per year through the Amazon platform have been offered a sort of inside merchandising concierge at Amazon. One concierge might handle 15 of these big brands," explains Aarstol, "In their new program, they wanted to spotlight rising star brands and we were selected. Tower, and the other 15 test pilots of this program, share two of these inside concierges so we’re really getting the gold glove treatment from Amazon."
