Step 1: Prep your leash string. Start with a parachute cord (anything similar, shoelace, etc) that is about 10 inches in length.
Step 2: Tie Knot. Take the two ends and tie an overhand knot.
Step 3: Attach leash string to surfboard. Take the loop end and push it through the leash plug.
Step 4: Attach Leash.
